Rhapsody

Rhapsody is an American Paint pony who has been working at Stride Ahead for many years in our therapeutic riding program following a career as a show horse. But recently her owner donated her to us making her an official part of the Stride Ahead stable.

A pony is a breed of horse that never gets as large as other breeds, filling our need for a smaller-sized horse perfect for new riders. Known for her calm and patient demeanor and her distinctive one eye, she is perfect for riders dealing with fear and anxiety.

A series of painful eye infections several years ago left her without an eye, although it did nothing to change her kind, gentle view of the world. We’re grateful to have this sweet angel in our stable.
