What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?
EAL is an experiential approach that develops life skills in individuals of all ages and abilities. It combines character building exercises with personal coaching to measurably improve a wide range of social and academic skills.

Program Details

Stride Ahead’s EAL staff work closely with participants to customize lesson plans that suit the needs and strengths of each individual, helping them to develop social and life skills.

By partnering with horses, participants are able to practice trust, body language, respect, risk management, and boundaries. Each week, they explore new themes and tackle new activities, all while building confidence and competency.
