Sarah

Sarah is a part Lippizaner mare. Her dam was half Quarter Horse, half Thoroughbred show horse, and her sire was a Lippizaner dressage horse.

Sarah was born in the mountains of Colorado, and was named after the mountain that overlooked her ranch (her registered name is Cochise). Sarah came to Little Creek twenty-two years ago and left twice to have her babies, Regallo and Regatza, both of whom became dressage horses like their mother.

Sarah has taught many people to ride dressage and hunter seat. She falls in love with the people who ride her and is a devoted friend. She will come when you call her, like a puppy dog.

Sarah loves all the attention she gets from her riders, the volunteers, and trainers of Stride Ahead. While she loves to be groomed, her favorite way to receive affection is through treats.
