Help Tabatha Help Children

We are honored and inspired by Tabatha, who recognizes in her own privilege to be able to enjoy the benefits of working with horses, that what she has gained is not available to so many children in need.  Tabatha is taking that benefit and compassion and converting it into action, by working to make this extraordinary, healing experience available to others.

“The Leg-Up Project was started in response
to my experience throughout 9 years of riding. In the course of my riding experience, I have been exposed to a healthy and supportive environment that encouraged my social and leadership skills, as well as developed loving bonds with horses that have taught me the value of perseverance and risk taking among many other personal qualities. In addition, my involvement with therapeutic horseback riding led me to witness the life-changing benefits of equine assisted therapy to a child that was once unable to walk or an autistic boy who is now able to form friendships.”
